I love this song

I have never heard any of your game or 8-bit tracks but I love what you did with this one. it isn't related to any game? it should be!! good timing, great composition, clean transitions; all of what I was looking for. I just pray that all your hard work and insperation on this track doesn't get overshadowed by your success with game music. great job, thanks for the upload.

EliteFerrex responds:

Well, thank you very much! I appreciate the support. This song was definitely one of my best works, and I'm really glad you enjoyed it. =)

you can do better

I love the rhythm of the song so for what it is, I give it a 9 overall. I would seriously consider finding some good beats on Audio Portal and mix this like crazy for about 3 minutes. I can think of so many good loops that would go great with this song. I look forward to what you do with it in the future.

too awesome

I love collabs, this song is the appitami of awesome. everything about this song is crazy good, and has everything needed to be in a club scene. the only suggestion that I could possibly give you is ad vocals or lyrics to the song. on that note, don't change anything at all. whatsoever. 5&10 all around man!! w00t!

ViceOfFire responds:

Thanks loads dude, it's really appreciated :D

On the subject of vocals, there are slight vocals, the "Are you ready", but I understand what you mean about lyrics etc. We continue to collaborate, and maybe in the future we'll do a song with lyrics xD

Thanks again for the very positive review.

awesome composition

I hope you could make this song a lot longer next time cause it is hella good. if you do I suggest that you mix the beat that you used in the very beginning with the climax at the end. I would love to see an extension of this song. 5s and 10s all around.

moonshine!!

nice song, the banjo kinda makes the song sureal and genuine at the same time. I would still give it something else too, cause the sound that follows the banjo is a little too overpowering.

thanks for uploading this

sorry you got a bad score from ppl. I guess they just can't appreciate the song for what it is. you did slip-up on a couple notes there, but all in all it's a lovely song. great composition.

Alturos responds:

I'm glad you liked it! And thanks for the review/vote. I'm not nearly practised enough on the piano/keyboard, but hopefully that will improve.

All it takes is one bad review to wreck a score, so again: Thanks!

if you ever choose to re-edit it...

I would definitely clean up the track sound cause it is kinda giving me a headache. sorry, only meant that literally.

I would suggest...

bring out the vocals a lot more cause it is gettng drowned out behind the guitars dude. yeah, most of the lyrics at the first half were completely inaudible ( I know that's kinda part of the genre, but you know what I mean). other than that, rock on!!

definitely make into full blown out your ass song.

I love the beat and the clean transitions . I would suggest that you may want to add a shit load more to the song when you expand on it cause the climax that you have at the end is just come and go, which is good in a 1min23sec song. but when you do your thing could you give it a more skidish beat, and background piano sounds?

all in all though I love it for what it is. hope that you can make it into a full song though.

slappmedoo responds:

I definitely agree about the ending. Basically, I ran out of ideas, so the song just stopped. I know it's not aurally pleasing, but that's the first thing I'm going to fix. Also, I like the idea of a background piano. I have several little melodies that I took out because they just wound up cluttering the sound instead of adding to it.

Thanks for the feedback!

your just starting out so no biggy

I would definitly experiment with whatever program you are using to make this. a lot of experimenting! what you have out is OK, but I would suggest revising it once you know what you want to do with the song.

But no matter how bad or unfinished a beat is, put it up on here none the less. I can't tell you how many people complain that they spent hours refining a 3 minute track only to have their computer crash or catch a virus.

keep up the work. I look forward to what you have to put out next time.

GothGecko responds:

Thanks - the main purpose was to use a melody, and just play around with some basic sounds to test the melody out.
